City Dental Care is the story of three dentists and two friendships formed across Europe. Dr. Hamza Al Haddad and Dr. Feras Elbiss met as students in Prague; Dr. Christopher Sarafiant and Dr. Hamza later trained together in Vilnius. Three different journeys into dentistry — and one shared idea of what patient care should feel like.
Scotland is where those paths met. Dr. Feras had already established his career here, and Dr. Christopher — who grew up in Scotland — was glad to return. With all three in Edinburgh, the friendships became a partnership: complementary skills, a common standard, and the ambition to build a practice of their own.
When the opportunity came to take over the former City Health Clinic on Earl Grey Street, the three founders rebranded it together as City Dental Care — a practice built on a shared mission: exceptional dentistry, and patient care that goes out of its way for everyone who walks in.

Co-Founder
Dr. Hamza shares a passion for Surgery and Restorative Dentistry with a particular interest in Implantology. He has attended the prestigious course of Dr Paul Tipton in Restorative Dentistry. He has completed a mentorship with seasoned Implantologist Dr. Leanne Branton from Southside Dental Care. Dr. Hamza has completed an Oral Surgery course from seasoned surgeon Dr. Tamer Theodossy. In his free time, he enjoys playing padel and drinking specialty coffees around Edinburgh and Scotland.
Co-Founder
Dr. Christopher shares a passion for Restorative Dentistry and is also attending the prestigious course of Dr Paul Tipton for Restorative Dentistry. He has completed courses for Composite Veneers. In his free time, Dr. Christopher enjoys walking around the beauty of Edinburgh and Scotland exploring its food. He also has a hobby for 3D Printing in which he hopes to bring to City Dental Care by offering in house lab work for his patients.
Co-Founder
Dr. Feras shares a passion in Restorative and Endodontic treatment. He is highly qualified in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, having trained at Aspire dental academy based in London. His passion also extends to surgery, where he is proficient in surgical tooth removals as well as simple soft tissue surgeries, including gum contouring. Dr. Feras is also an expert in Facial aesthetics, providing dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.Apart from his time at work, Dr. Feras has an active lifestyle and enjoys daily exercise as well as spending time in the Scottish highlands.
