Third Kit Sponsor of Blair Spittal, Heart of Midlothian FC, 2026/27. Our name sits on the list of sponsors on his player profile at the club, beside the third kit he wears this season. It is a package we paid for, and it is the whole of what we bought — you can see it on his Hearts profile.
We sponsor the shirt; the club and the player do not endorse the practice. We provide no dental care to the club or its players, and nobody at Tynecastle is suggesting where you should go for a check-up. The season is on this page for the same reason it is in our structured data: sponsor lists are rewritten every summer, and a sponsorship with no date on it quietly starts claiming more than it should.
Why a football shirt
Tynecastle is about a mile from our door on 9 Earl Grey Street, and a good number of our patients are season ticket holders — we hear about the match all week, in the chair, from people who have strong views about it. Putting our name to something they already care about felt better than another advert nobody asked for.
That is about as much football writing as you should expect from a dental practice. We are better at teeth.
What we do, if you ever need us
City Dental Care is a general dental practice at 9 Earl Grey Street, Edinburgh EH3 9BN, in central Edinburgh. We see patients on the NHS — our list is open, and NHS examinations are free for everyone in Scotland — and as private patients, at the same published prices whatever time of day you come in.
We are open from 8.30am, until 8pm Monday to Thursday and until 5pm on Friday, and closed at weekends, so an appointment need not cost you a day off work — that is the thinking behind our evening appointments, and booking online runs at any hour.
